This Cookie Policy explains which cookies are used on bronzehome.com (the “Site”), operated by Bronze Home Accessories - Mustafa Balıkcı (“Bronze Home”, “we” or “us”), what they do and how you can control them. Language: This English version is provided for convenience. The Turkish version is the authoritative text, and it prevails in the event of any inconsistency.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They let the site recognise you as you move from page to page, so that it can, for example, remember what is in your basket. “Session cookies” last only while your browser is open, whereas “persistent cookies” remain for a set period. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are “first-party” cookies; those set by another provider are “third-party” cookies.
2. In short: what cookies does the Site use?
- The Site uses a strictly necessary session cookie (FSESSID) that it needs in order to work. On international orders, if you choose Apple Pay / Google Pay at checkout, our payment provider Stripe also sets its fraud-prevention cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid).
- We currently use no analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. Your visits are not measured and no advertising profile is built about you.
- Google Maps loads only if you ask it to, and our payment providers use their own cookies on their payment pages (see section 4).
3. The cookies we use

These cookies are essential for the Site's core functions and for secure payment, and are used to provide the services you ask for, such as shopping, signing in to your account and paying. They are therefore set without asking for your consent, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on Cookie Practices; the legal bases we rely on are the performance of a contract and our legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)). Strictly necessary cookies of this kind are likewise exempt from consent under the cookie rules that apply in the EU and the UK. They are not used for advertising or tracking; FSESSID is not shared with anyone else, and the Stripe cookies are used by Stripe only to protect payments.
4. Third-party services and their cookies
- Google Maps: The map on our Contact page does not load unless you click “show map”, so simply visiting the page does not connect you to Google. If you choose to show the map, it loads from Google's servers, your browser connects to Google, and Google may set its own cookies. See how Google uses cookies and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Payment pages: On the payment pages of iyzico (İyzi Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş.) and Stripe, these providers use their own strictly necessary cookies to complete your payment securely. Those cookies are the providers' responsibility; for details, see the privacy information published by iyzico and Stripe.
- WhatsApp: The WhatsApp button on the Site is simply a link and sets no cookies on the Site. Tapping it takes you to WhatsApp (Meta), after which WhatsApp's privacy policy applies.
5. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future
If we ever add analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies to the Site, they will run only after you have given your explicit consent in advance. We will provide a cookie settings tool that lets you accept or reject them and change your mind later, and we will update this policy beforehand to list the new cookies. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not stop you from using the Site.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Please bear in mind that if you block the strictly necessary session cookie, your basket, signing in and checkout will not work. Menu names vary between browser versions and devices:
- Google Chrome: the three-dot menu at the top right → Settings → Privacy and security. Use “Delete browsing data” to remove cookies, or the cookie and site data settings to block them or allow them for particular sites. Chrome Help

On mobile devices, these options are usually found in the browser app's own settings, under “Privacy” or “Site settings”.
7. Changes and contact
We update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies used on the Site or the relevant law change. The current version is always published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
