Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using the website at https://bronzehome.com. You accept them when you create an account; visitors who use the site without an account are also bound by them to the extent they use the site. Please read them carefully.

Language: These Terms are published in Turkish and English. The English version is provided for convenience; if there is any difference between the two, the Turkish text prevails.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by the following business (referred to in these Terms as "Bronze Home", "we" or "us"):

Anyone who visits or uses the site is a "User"; a User who has registered an account is a "Member".

2. Scope and how these Terms relate to other documents

These Terms cover your use of the site. Any order you place is governed by the Distance Sales Agreement and the Pre-Contract Information Form you accept at checkout; on matters relating to an order, those documents take precedence over these Terms. How we process your personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice, and how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits the rights you have as a consumer under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and related legislation.

3. Using the site

You agree to use the site lawfully, in line with these Terms and with due regard for others. In particular, you must not:

• attempt to breach the security of the site, its servers or networks, gain unauthorised access, or disrupt how the site works;
• upload or spread malware, viruses or similar code;
• collect content or data from the site by automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers and the like) without our prior written permission;
• act in someone else's name or with false information, or use another person's payment details without authorisation;
• use the site for any misleading or unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

If these rules are broken, we may restrict the user's access to the site and reserve the right to take legal action.

4. Accounts and keeping them secure

• You don't need an account to order – you can check out as a guest. An account lets you save favourites and access your account area.
• The details you give when registering must be accurate, up to date and your own. If they change, please update them in your account or let us know.
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and not sharing your account. We don't store your password in plain text, only as a secure hash.
• If you suspect someone else has used your account, change your password straight away and tell us at info@bronzehome.com.
• We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, use of false information, or misuse. This doesn't affect either party's rights and obligations under orders already placed.
• You can close your account at any time by emailing info@bronzehome.com. Records we're legally required to keep, such as invoices and accounting records, will be retained for the period the law requires.

5. Product information, prices and availability

5.1 Product information

Our pieces are made by hand in our Istanbul workshop, so there may be slight differences in size or tone between pieces, and between a piece and its photograph. These differences are not a defect. Colours may also look different depending on your screen settings.

5.2 Prices

All prices on the site include Turkish VAT (KDV). Prices can be shown in Turkish lira (TRY), US dollars (USD) or euros (EUR), and your order is placed in the currency you choose. The price that applies to your order is the one shown on the site when you place it, as stated in the Pre-Contract Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement.

5.3 Pricing and stock errors

Despite our care, a technical fault or typing error may occasionally result in an obviously incorrect price (for example, one bearing no reasonable relation to the item's real price) or incorrect stock information. If that happens, we'll let you know promptly and ask whether you'd like to continue at the correct price or cancel. If the order is cancelled, we'll refund everything you paid within the period required by law.

Because pieces are prepared to order in our workshop, if an order becomes impossible to fulfil – for instance because materials can't be sourced – we'll inform you within the period required by law and refund everything you paid.

6. Intellectual property

The product photographs and other images, product designs, text, the Bronze Home name and logo, page layouts and all other content on the site belong to Bronze Home or to those who have licensed it to us, and are protected by Turkish law, including Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and Industrial Property Law No. 6769.

You may use the site's content only for personal, non-commercial purposes – to browse and to shop. Without our prior written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, alter or republish it on another website or marketplace, imitate our product designs, or use any of it commercially. You're welcome to link to a page on our site with a clear reference to its source.

7. Your content and product reviews

You can post reviews and comments about our products. When you do:

• your content must reflect your own genuine experience, be accurate and be your own;
• you must not post anything abusive, threatening, hateful or obscene, anything containing personal data, advertising or links to other sites, or anything that infringes others' rights or is otherwise unlawful;
• we won't remove a review simply because it's negative, but we may decline to publish or remove content of the kind described above, or content unrelated to the product;
• by posting, you allow us to publish your content free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis on the site and in Bronze Home's promotional channels for as long as it remains published, and to adapt its format as needed to display it;
• you can ask us to remove your content at any time by emailing info@bronzehome.com.

You are legally responsible for the content you post.

8. Trade customers and dealer accounts

Hotels, restaurants and other trade customers can request a quote through the "Professionals" page. Approved dealers are given access to a separate dealer panel, where they can see trade prices and prepare quotes. These are business customers, and consumer protection legislation does not apply to transactions with them.

• Access to the dealer panel is subject to our approval. We may decline an application, or suspend or close a dealer account.
• Trade prices, quotation terms and other commercial information in the panel are confidential. They must not be shared with third parties and may be used only within the dealer relationship.
• Dealers are responsible for the accuracy of the details of their own customers that they enter in the panel, and for processing that personal data in compliance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), including informing the individuals concerned and having a valid legal basis.
• Dealers are responsible for keeping their login details secure and for all activity carried out through their account.
• Where Bronze Home and a trade customer or dealer have a separate written agreement, that agreement takes precedence.

9. Limits on our liability

We take reasonable care to keep the site available, secure and free of errors. Even so, the site may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical faults, problems with internet infrastructure or other causes beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions or from unlawful acts of third parties on the site.

We are not liable for failing to meet our obligations because of force majeure, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes or decisions of public authorities. In that case we'll keep you informed, and your rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

These limits do not apply to losses caused by our intent or gross negligence, or to your rights under consumer protection law, including your rights for faulty goods and your right to cancel.

10. Third-party links and services

The site includes links to, and redirects to, third-party services. For example, card payments are made on the secure payment pages of iyzico (İyzi Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş.) or Stripe, and your card details never reach us; Google Maps on our Contact page loads only when you choose "show map"; and the WhatsApp button is simply a link that takes you to WhatsApp. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites we link to.

11. Personal data and communications

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice. We'll email you about your orders, deliveries and account. We send marketing messages, such as newsletters and promotions, only if you have given your explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law, new services on the site or changes to how we operate. The current version is published on this page with its last updated date and takes effect from that date. Changes do not affect orders placed before them; those orders remain subject to the terms in force when they were placed.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Consumer disputes are heard by Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) up to the monetary limits set each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and by Consumer Courts (Tüketici Mahkemeleri) above those limits. You may apply to the committee or court for your place of residence or for the place where the transaction took place, as permitted by law.

14. Entry into force

These Terms take effect for Members when they accept them on registering, and for other Users when they start using the site. As stated above, if the Turkish and English versions differ, the Turkish text prevails.
